In the UC Santa Barbara Division of Student Affairs, Student Information Systems & Technology (SIS&T) supports email, websites, and many student-support applications. During any disruption of services, this website will provide information as to which have been affected and when they should be fully restored.

Current Status of Services

Information on disruption to internet services 7-8 AM Tuesday January 16, 2018
Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) performed some planned work this morning to enable the Unified Threat Management (UTM) service protections to enhance security on our campus.  This action disrupted internet access from outside of Student Affairs to Student Affairs websites and network.  To resolve this problem, the Student Affairs Network was reverted back to the way it was.  The Student Affairs Network still retains the Division Palo Alto Firewall that provides protection and security for the SA Network and websites.  The outage began approximately 7:05 AM and service was restored approximately 7:58 AM.

All systems are operational.
